Decapitated Demon

With the release of Zbrush’s NPR system I wanted to give it a whirl and thought “what better to do that with than a decapitated demon head?!” I was also getting more interested in anatomy and was hoping that this would be a good opportunity for me to create something that would push me in that direction. I didn’t want this to be a huge undertaking and didn’t spend more than a couple of hours on the sculpture and building the NPR filters but I was happy enough with the result that I thought it was worth hanging on to. I particularly like the saliva and blood effects that I was able to achieve in the sculpt.
